Howdy do! I'm Teresa. I love coffee, I play music (like a bunch of different instruments,) and I feel the most at home in the middle of the woods. I grew up exploring the woods along the Shenandoah river in Virginia, so it's only natural to me to photograph people where I feel the most joy. I'm married to a great man and have two young children, so my bookings are limited while my babies are little! This will change as they grow :)
Where the heck does the business name come from?
I used to be a tour guide at Luray Caverns (caving is another joy of mine,) and one time my coworker told me that I was like a woodland sprite, skipping around in the cave. That made me so happy to hear, so I decided to manifest the spritely vibe in my woodsy photography business. It might be weird, but I most definitely am weird as well, so it works out :)
Experience
Professionally speaking, I have been photographing portraits of other people (besides my friends) for the last 10 years, off and on. I have now been steadily in business for the last 2 years and have been photographing weddings for 2 years, as well. I'm inspired by nature (obviously), art, and fantasy movies like the Lord of the Rings, so you'll see a good mix of creative/natural photos from me. When it comes to weddings, I lean heavily towards documentary style, capturing all the little moments and candids you'd want to remember forever.
